Download the New 2012 Hireko Golf Equipment Catalog

The new 2012 Hireko catalog is at printer and will be mailing January 20 so you will have it in your hands to thumb through all the new products we have added at the end of January. We say this ever year, but we truly mean it, this year’s catalog is our biggest and best ever! You will see that are serious about being your one-stop-shop for all your golf equipment needs.

For instance, if you are looking for that hard to find taper tip shaft (graphite too) or ribbed grip no one else cares to stock, we probably have it.  We now offer the complete product lines most of our vendors and of course we have them at the lowest possible prices.

We have expanded our clubmaking supplies so you have a greater selection of items like specialty ferrules to retro-fit the most popular name brand clubs and do it right the first time.

We have more accessories like our new the Sahara golf bag line and items we haven’t normally sold like rangefinders, training aids and you will see we now sell brand name assembled clubs from Adams Golf and Tour Edge.

Of course, what would a new catalog be without all the new clubhead models that you come to expect from Hireko.  We have revamped some of your favorite lines like the Acer XDS and Power Play Caiman series, added junior components, and two stunning new wedge series and seriously upgraded the putter line up.  You could say we worked extremely hard designing products this past year that will make golf a little more enjoyable next time out.

Performance-driven or budget minded our full line catalog covers it all from beginning to professional golfers. For left handed golfers, you will find no better selection anywhere. While you are waiting on your copy to reach your mailbox, we can provide you with a link to download it now.

I was recently introduced to Hireko and purchased your Select 5000 Hybrid set just before Christmas. I am very pleased with the clubs however, the head covers provided have proved to be extremely inpractical and a nuisence. Within the first couple uses, the plastic zippers began overriding and then separating, preventing the club head from being able to be inserted or removed without work. In trying to use the head covers without using the zipper, they do not remain on the club. Please let me know if you have another cover with simply an expandable neck to replace these with or if i should return them to you for eachange. It would be in everyones best interest to avoid constantly returning the ones provided for replacements.

Please confirm how you’ll handle this issue. I’ll delay retuning them until hearing from you.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Dave:

We have only sold one type of head cover to fit the Power Play Select 5000 hybrids since their inception. We have no others that will fit. However, I can’t recall any other complaints or comments, but you are welcome to contact customer service directly if they are defective.

  4. James says:

There isn’t only one cover that will fit those hybrids, there are several. You can try either of these two styles which don’t have zippers: http://www.hirekogolf.com/hireko/orderportal/catalog_presentation/by_group/0/472/0/0/0/0/0 or http://www.hirekogolf.com/hireko/orderportal/catalog_presentation/by_group/0/1802/0/0/0/0/0 Maybe they will let you exchange your defective covers for one of those two models.

And Jeff, I’m not sure why you haven’t heard any complaints on those head covers because it is a fairly common issue. If you look at the reviews on the product page you will see that 7 out of the 11 reviews mention a problem with the zippers. https://www.hirekogolf.com/hireko/orderportal/catalog_presentation/by_group/0/485/0/0/0/0/0 I think it’s time to find a new manufacturer for your zippered hybrid covers.

Anyways, back on topic – I’m really looking forwards to some of the new items for this year? Any idea on when the new stuff will be ready to ship out?

  6. Glenn says:

Jeff: you have really outdone yourself. The new blades and wedges are beautiful. The new Caiman X2 woods/hybrids and CB irons look sweet too. The SPOT putter looks like a great fitting option. Great work!

  7. Stephen Hopkins says:

When will the new 2012 products make it to the website?

  8. Jeff Summitt says:

    James:

The new products should be in stock by mid March.

The other two head covers are for the larger body styles so the head will fit loose inside the HCs. But thanks for pointing out the problem. I was basing my answer on phone calls and emails I receive from customers.

  9. Glen says:

Any idea when the new Project X iron shaft (PXI) will be available and more importantly have a DSFI number? Really curious if they can kick my tt-lite XL out of the bag.

  10. Jeff Summitt says:

    Stephen:

The shafts and grips should be up in the next 10 days and the club heads in February.

  11. Jeff Summitt says:

    Glen:

I don’t believe the PXi shafts will be available until the first part of February.

  12. Stephen Hopkins says:

Will the Caiman x2 Raw Power CB irons have the same hosel depth as the XF line? If like to throw them on the Shadow Steel shafts I currently have in an XF & XF HT mixed set.

  13. Jeff Summitt says:

    Stephen:

You will probably end up losing 1/8″ in length. The head of a tip pin would make up that difference though.

  16. Winston Phillips says:

    Rob or Jeff,
I earlier bought an ACER XDS Thriver which i like very much. I believe the loft was 14 degrees for both Right- and Left- handers, Your new XDS goes only to 10.5 for LH. Are you likely to receive 12 degrees for LH at some later time?

  17. Jeff Summitt says:

    Winston:

The only Thriver we will have for 2012 is in the Acer XF series (RH only). The XDS React will not be available LH in a loft any higher than 10.5º at least at this time.
