I've been watching this new club evolve and am very interested in getting the chance to order the 14* thriver. My question is for the 3 metal-will this be a shallow face? And what degree will you offer? I would like to carry only two driver/fairway clubs.

This is a very interesting design. Variable-thickness cup-face should provide maximum forgiveness. I would like to see a way to control the clubhead weight . . . some golfers fit well to shorter 10.5* drivers.

Also, much as I like the simple elegant graphics, I hate the term "thriver". Stamping that name on the bottom (as the picture shows) will make this club impossible to sell as a real driver. There are plenty of golfers who want a driver and perform well with a 14* driver in their hands. Shoot -- I use a 14* on those weeks when I'm struggling with my normal gamer. Please consider simply stamping the loft on the base of the club. Those that want to call it a thriver will still do so, but those that want to call it a driver still can.

Glenn:

The face, as selected by the participants, is a variable face thickness, cup face design. Lie is standard, but more particulars will be available once we get closer to having inventory in house.
