The screw is actually made of stainless steel.  The only aluminum part is the adapter itself.  The great thing about the adapter system is that the shaft&#039;s insertion and depth is the same as any titanium head we offer today. 		<description>Jeff, what about the comments I have seen regarding the set screw stripping because it is aluminum or that you can feel the head move during your swing?  I would love to try one out and turn my little fade into a litte draw :), but have some concerns that maybe I should wait till next years model when they tweak it and fix any little issues that come up with the first model like possible the ones I mentioned above.

Also, does the adaptor change the stiffness of the completed shaft once attached or do you fit it like a regular head and just hold it in place with tape for the dry fitting?

		<description>I have built clubs for many golfers over 6 feet, 5 inches tall.  With standard club lie angle of 58 degrees, longer shaft lengths and  shaft droop, the ball still fades!  With the option of 60 degrees upright, these taller golfers will realize straighter drives, and shorter shafts will improve accuracy.
Shorter players can benefit from this higher lie angle because the face loft will be angled more to the left then a flatter lie.  We demonstrate  that with long irons bent more upright, straighter shots, even for short players.</description>

This is the beauty of the system, if you want to see what affect the spine plays in playability, you can find out first hand.  The price of the shaft may have no bearing as that is generally factored in by the materials used in the construction, name brand of the shaft and country of origin.

First, the FAZ-FIT only allows one to switch shafts, but not change any face or lie angles. The ICT system is USGA conforming, which the FAX-FIT is not.  Also, ICT adapter allows the shaft seats as any normal driver, while the FAZ-FIT may require additional tip trimming to obtain the same flex as in a normal club head.  Lastly, the ICT adapter is less expensive.
