This is an excellent article that pertains to clubmaking but applies to all business ventures. I am a sales rep that sells to construction contractors. While most of my customers are excellent tradesmen they confuse cash flow with profit? Profit is what is left after ALL expenses are paid, not what happens to be in the checking account. It is my experience that most people do not charge enough for their services. Thanks for giving club builders something to think about.

Thankyou, I have been waiting quite sometime for someone to explain it to me in terms I can understand. I will certainly put it into practice. I haven't been making any money for quite some time and I could never understand why. I thought I was charging plenty but it turns out I wasn't taking in the big picture.
Thanks again
