Couldn't agree more. I came from a golf family. At a very very early age my sisters and I accompanied our parents to the golf course a few times each week. Our job was to pull the flag out of the pin, get the balls out of the cup and manuever the golf cart (occassionally and only as we were old enough).

They made the whole experience very relaxing and very enjoyable and all 3 of we girls learned to love and enjoy the game of golf. They never forced us to play nor did they criticize when we did start playing.

We took the same approach with our kids. One took to golf like a pro right out of the gate and can't get enough of it...the others would prefer to just watch. No matter, it's a great family fun experience for us all and something we enjoy doing together.

Thanks for sharing this,

ICOULDN'T AGREE WITH THIS ARTICLE MORE. MY 20 MONTH OLD STARTED WATCHING ME SWING THE CLUB IN THE LIVING ROOM FROM HIS HI CHAIR. HE LAUGHED UNCONTROLLABLY AT THE SOUND OF THE WOOSH. NOW WITH HIS PLASTIC CLUBS HE CHASES FOAM GOLF BALLS ALL OVER THE HOUSE AS HE WATCHES GOLF WITH DADA ON TV. IT SEEMS LIKE HE LIKES IT ALREADY. I HOPE I HAVE A NEW GOLF PARTNER IN HIM.
